The Danforth Center renovation at Brooks School brings new life into the athletic facility with new squash court center, lobby area and rowing center. The new rowing center offers the team two 8-person, indoor rowing tanks which allows them to hold practice even when cold or inclement weather prevent them from rowing outdoors. These tanks were custom built for the crew teams specific needs and were finished with the school’s colors.
The newly renovated squash court facility completes this state-of-the-art renovation, providing ten international squash courts to support a very active and successful squash program. This coaching approach is greatly enhanced by the new facility, providing one court with video capability to assist in the coaching process. The school was also cognoscente of the accessibility of the building and worked features into the design to allow disabled spectators to watch the action with greater ease.
