Eyetech Pharmaceuticals, Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company that specializes in the development and commercialization of novel therapeutics to treat diseases of the eye. The renovation of this 48,000 sq ft building includes: new offices, conference rooms, reception area, labs and extensive animal care facilities. Tying the work of Eyetech in with the design of the interior of the building, the flooring patterns in the labs mimic an abstract eye using various shades and patterns of vinyl composition tile. The scheme of a garden is felt throughout the space, through the interior colors. Continuing the natural theme are the clouds that are suspended from the ceiling aided by up lights helping illuminate the offices below as well as the adjacent labs with natural light.
