Designers created a signature “look” for this corporate headquarters and R&D facility by incorporating its logo, a cube, into all public spaces. They carried this theme, as well as, the client’s focus on art, into all the spaces. Since designers worked within the existing structural grid of the building they placed high priority science spaces in areas with the most flexible and open structural system. Offices were organized among more confined structural grids and public spaces such as the cafe and conference area were located at its core. A sweeping curved corridor plays off the grid of the building; its gentle arc creates an artistic gallery running the length of the building.
