Our New Senior Associate

Olson Lewis Dioli & Doktor Architects & Planners, Inc. is pleased to announce the promotion of Daniel W. Bates to the position of Senior Associate.
Daniel brings ten years of experience as an architect as well as a strong connection to the building community developed during his six years as a carpenter on Martha’s Vineyard. A history major as an undergraduate Daniel obtained his BA from Brown University in 1984. Inspired by his work with the design/build South Mountain Company of West Tisbury, MA he completed his Masters of Architecture at the University of Pennsylvania in 1996.
At OLD&D, Daniel's innovative design work and project leadership in the Biotech market sector has contributed to the firm's success. Principal Randy Lewis stated "no matter what Dan touches, the designs keep getting better and better."
Mr. Bates joined OLD&D in January of 2000 after a four-year stint in NYC. He resides with his wife and two children in his recently renovated First Period home in Ipswich, Massachusetts.
